Sun/weather protection (hat, sunglasses, sleeves, sunblock etc)
Water, water and more water! Feel free to bring an energy bar or two as well.
Trekking poles may be useful to some on this hike.
 
Description

• The Sweetwater Trailhead is located in the Tucson Mountains just West of Tucson. The winding trail leading to the saddle just below Wasson Peak offers great city views, spring flowers, and saguaros. The trail has very little shade, so be prepared.
• Length: 7 miles out and back
• Elevation change: 1,100 feet
• Duration (including travel): 5 hours including travel time
